Wow!

I have been following a couple blogs these days, and I saw how sad my bog was, so I thought I would post!

Lots has happened to our family... primarily we made a HUGE move to Florida! Josh got a job in Palmetto, FL and so we came. We are having fun at the beach and learning our new surroundings. We are back to warm winters, and no snow, but at least we can go to the beach and make a snowman and frolick in the froth of the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico!

We would love to have every one of our family and friends come and enjoy the great state of Florida!

Summer Fun

Well, Josh did graduate from CWU. He has a few classes this summer, and hopefully we can get a job and move on to a career. We have had a wonderful time here in Ellensburg this year and we have made so many good friends. After the graduation Jarren, Talya and I went to the Oregon coast and Mt St Helens with my parents, and we had a wonderful. I wish we could have spent more time there on the beach.

Busy in May

We had a busy month of May. First, it was my birthday in the beginning, and although it was uneventful, I kind of prefer it that way. Then just a few days later was Mother's day. In the midst of all that Josh was busy getting the CWU's production of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers up and running. Ben, Jessica and Genavieve came for the weekend to see the play. Josh did a great job on the scenery, and learned a lot. The next week the kids and I drove to Utah to visit Grandma and Grandpa Nicholson and the clan. Dianetha and Heath were visiting from Virginia with their two daughters, and the kids had a wonderful time playing with each other. We got back to Washington just in time to drive over to Portland for the weekend for Ben's graduation from Physical Therapy school. It was nice to see the Johnson side of the family there. We are so grateful for family.
Now we are back home in Ellensburg trying to get Josh ready for graduation, and I am continuing to apply for jobs...both for me and Josh!

Well, last week I went on a cruise for my mother's 60th birthday. In attendance were Mom, Nell, Jill Larsen, Aunt Maxilyn, aunt Merrie and myself. We had an absolutely Wonderful time! We left out of San Diego on Thursday, spent the day in Ensenada Mexico on Friday, a day at sea on Saturday, and got off on Sunday. It was short, but so much fun!

Wow! Lots has happened since my last blog. We had a good christmas in Nevada at grandma and grandpa Johnson's, and New Years in Utah with grandma and grandpa Nicholson. We made it back to Ellensburg just in time for the big melt and all the flooding in our area. We didn't get any, but it was amazing how fast the snow melted...no wonder there was so much flood damage. Now we are dealing with dreary February. Josh's birthday is today, and he is feeling great about being 33. We never thought we would be this age! Life just kind of takes over and gets moving on ya! Josh will graduate in June, and is now looking for a job. Hopefully something will happen!!!

It has been a little while since I have blogged. We are still in Ellensburg, it is getting cold here, it is in the 60's most of the time. Josh and Jarren have both started school, and Talya and I just stay home and try not to kill each other! We are enjoying our time here, but we are curious where life will take us next. We are excited to get out of the tiny apartment!

We are still having a grand old time here in Ellensburg. I still have not found a job, Josh just finished his summer session, and the kids are still driving me nuts! What fun! For more fun in August we are going to go to Utah and bug my family. School doesn't start here until midway into September. We have been camping with the ward, played at all the parks, and gone fishing (still no fish)! It is wonderful weather here, and we do enjoy that a lot!!! We are glad to be out of the Arizona heat.

We have made it into July, and still don't have a job. Josh is busy with school, and the kids and I just loooove hanging out together (As long as they don't come near me!) Our apartment does not have air conditioning, and so we try to do fun, free things everyday in airconditiong. We went to the Children's museum which was having a free month in June, and it is was lots of fun. We also went swimming at the pool, which if you ask me was overpriced for a pool, but the kids didn't want to leave, so we played there for 3 hours. At least it was cool. It was fun. I attached some pictured.

My mother wanted me to check out the blogs, and I remembered that I had set up a page a long time ago, so I looked it up. I am still not very good, at this, and I am I trying to figure it out. So her is the first blog.

We got a whim to move to Washington State, well, mostly after Josh quit his job, twice, and we had no money. He decided (with a little encouragement) that he should finish his Master's degree, and quick, before his wife kills him. So we moved to Ellensburg WA where josh had started a Master degree program last year. We really like it here, it is beautiful, and sooooooo much cooler than Arizona.

Since we arrived almost a month ago we have just been hanging out in out mini house (That is what I like to call it, it is campus housing from the 70's, and hasn't been re-done since then, and it is a whopping 700 sq ft!) Josh has been fishing a lot, but hasn't caught anything...hmmmm. And we have been to the library constantly, and any other free things we can think of. But we are doing well, and happy.
